About Laxmi Vilas Palace
Laxmi Vilas Palace was constructed in the year 1887 as an accommodation for Raja Raghunath Singh, who was the younger brother of the then ruler of Bharatpur, Raja Ram Singh. Built on a space of 50 acres and surrounded by yellow mustard fields, the edifice is an assorted amalgamation of Rajput and Mughal architecture. The palace building also has a touch of Brij culture at various places. The palace was earlier known as Raghunath niwas but among the locals it has always been popular as Kakaji ki Kothi. In the year 1994, this heritage home of Raja Raghunath Singh was converted into a luxurious hotel. The arrangements and architecture of the hotel promise that you will relive a truly royal rajasthani culture if you board a room in this heritage hotel.
The luxurious hotel Laxmi Vilas Palace comes with modern date business facilities for its business travelers. The corporate guests at the hotel can avail various business facilities like Banquet hall, meeting and conference rooms and a fully equipped business center. Unlike most hotels in the city, the guests at Laxmi Vilas Palace do not need to leave the hotel premises to get even the smallest of work done.
